  7. gs_expr evaluates ASCII-text expressions. It was originally designed to
  8. evaluate user-entered queries and calculations on-the-fly for a database
  9. search/report module. Math, logic and comparison operator supported (easily
  10. extendible) include: And, Or, Matches, Doesn't Match, Contains, Doesn't
  11. Contain, Before (alph.), After (alph.), Within X Of, Not Within X Of, Within X%
  12. Of, Not Within X% Of, Less Than, Less Than or Equal To, Equal To, Greater Than,
  13. Greater Than or Equal To, Neg, Abs, Add, Subtract, Mult, Div, Pow, Sqrt, Exp,
  14. Log, Log10, Sin, Cos, Tan, Asin, Acos, Atan, Sinh, Cosh, and Tanh. Supports
  15. operand column, word, or column-within-word ranges, with optional
  16. word-separator list; multiple-nesting of (,),[,], and {,}; variable names up to
  17. 32 characters. Supplied as XENIX/UNIX/DOS-compatible C source code, with
  18. embeddable and interactive/filter versions. Toll-free maintenance available.
